Oasis is running a program at PS 25 of District 16 in Bedford Stuyvesant for children 7-13.

In order to apply for this program you must:
Attend school of the following schools in District 16 - S 25, PS 335, MS 35, JHS 57, MS 143

Students that meet this criteria will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
Other families that live in the community may apply however priority is given to students who attend PS 25, PS 335, MS 35, JHS 57, MS 143.

To get accepted for the program:
Once we review your information and if your child is eligible for Oasis, you will be sent enrollment forms, including medical forms.
You must have all forms of the application in order for your child to be accepted into the program.

If your child is eligible and all forms are received you will be accepted within 2-3 weeks of receiving your application based on eligibility and completion of forms.

Students from other schools in District 16 or children living in Bed Stuy will be waitlisted as capacity allows unless there is room.

If your child was in the program for Summer 2007 you need to reapply for Summer 2008.

Oasis Children's Services operate a variety of summer and day camps for New York City children, teens and teenagers in the Manhattan area. We currently operate summer camps and day camps in two locations, Central Park and Downtown Manhattan. In addition to summer day camps, Oasis offers year round holiday and after-school adventure programs.

Oasis Downtown is just a short walk away from East River Park, one of New York City’s largest recreational facilities with ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, a soccer field and more. Nearby is Hamilton Fish Pool, one of New York City’s most popular swimming facilities. Oasis Downtown has a full arts program, sports instruction, swim instruction and a travel component takes advantage of all New York City has to offer.

Oasis summer day camp in Central Park offers a program that includes sports and recreation, visual and performing arts, swim instruction and a travel that takes advantage of all the City has to offer. The program also has a unique outdoor education component that includes environmental studies, orienteering, rock climbing and much more.
