EMPLOYEE CHECKLIST
If you are new to Oasis or need a reminder about how to apply for summer employment and/or completing the pre-summer employment process, please read through the Employee Checklist below.

| Submit an online application on the Apply Now page | Mid-December 2009 through June 2010 | Applications will be reviewed as they are submit and interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis. |
| Schedule an Interview | January 2010 through June 2010 | After applying, applicants will be contacted within two weeks via email to schedule an interview. |
| Accept Job Offer | January 2010 through June 2010 | Interviewed applicants will be contacted within a week after the interview regarding a potential job offer. Applicants should respond via email ASAP to accept or decline a job offer. |
| Sign Summer Contract Electronically | January 2010 through June 2010 | Applicants will be emailed a summer contract after accepting the job offer, which must be signed electronically. Applicants should sign the contract ASAP or within a week to secure their position. |
| Complete Employee Health Record, W-4s, and Job Descriptions | January 2010 through June 2010 | Applicants will be emailed copies of the forms that need to be completed. These should be completed before the start of the summer and mailed in to Oasis Headquarters. |
| Get Fingerprinted at the Department of Education* (if applicable) | May 2010 through June 2010 | Applicants at camp sites sponsored by the Department of Education can be fingerprinted at the DOE HR Walk-in Center or on designated Fingerprinting Days at Oasis Headquarters. Contact staff@oasischildren.com with questions. |
| Mail, Email, or Fax certifications to Oasis Headquarters | March 2010 through June 2010 | All swim staff, Health Directors, and Leadership Staff must send in copies of their current certifications after accepting a job offer. Expired certifications need to renewed. Contact staff@oasischildren.com with questions. |
| Renew WSI, CPR, RTE, Lifeguarding and EMT certifications* (if applicable) | March 2010 through June 2010 | All swim staff, Health Directors, and Leadership Staff need to have updated certifications valid through August 2010. CPR certifications must have been issued no more than one year before the end of August 2010. Contact staff@oasischildren.com with questions. |
| Attend Pre-Summer Trainings for Leadership & Instructors | May 2010 through June 2010 (several dates) | Training schedules will be posted online and emailed to staff. Trainings are position-based and mandatory for all staff. |
| Attend the Summer Launch | June 2010 (1 day) | The Summer Launch date for each site will be posted online and emailed to staff. Attendance is mandatory for all staff. |
| Attend the Pre-Camp On-site Training | June 2010 (3 days) | The dates for On-site Training at the camp site will be posted online and emailed to staff. Attendance is mandatory for all staff. GLYP participants MUST attend as a part of the required course hours. |
| Get in the Mess! | July 2010 through August 2010 | Camp begins! Staff members can access the Oasis Staff Portal throughout the summer for additional camp resources that will be posted throughout the summer. |
*This requirement does not apply to all staff. Please review your position requirements and the details of your camp site to determine if this component applies to you.
