Bayside Winter Newsletter 2022

Season’s Greetings Everyone!

As we enter our winter holidays, we, at Oasis in Bayside, wish our Oasis families a wonderful and happy holiday season.  As the colder weather approaches, we think back to the summer where we cheered, danced, swam, and played all day long. We miss all our smiling faces and hope you are keeping warm and seeing family and friends during this special time of year.

It was summer we won’t soon forget, but were already looking forward to the next one. We are planning wonderful new visitors to camp, fantastic special events and amazing activities!

We can’t wait to see everyone soon for another fantastic summer.

Crafts

Salt Dough – this simple recipe can be used to make whatever you want. Grab some winter holiday cookie cutters, make some shapes, and let dry. Feel free to paint your creations once they have dried! Make paper weights, ornaments, and gifts for family!

4 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Table Salt
1 ½ cups Warm Water
Add Glitter (paint, and ribbon, for decoration)
Add Polyurethane Spray (for preservation)

Paper Penguins! Grab some orange, black, and white construction paper, glue, a pair of googly eyes, and a pair of scissors to create these LOVEly penguins!

Cut a black oval out for the body, one skinny white heart for the tummy, and three orange hearts. Two will be for the penguin’s feet and one for the beak (make that heart pointier at the bottom).
