Health & Safety
Our Commitment to Safety
Peace of Mind, Every Day
On-Site Medical Professionals
All Oasis day camps have an EMT or registered nurse on location every day. This professional oversees any medication administration and is the primary responder to any medical needs.
All staff participate in health and safety training, and those in applicable roles are certified in CPR and First Aid.
All day trip travel includes a designated medical provider and fully stocked first aid kit, ensuring support at the camp site and during excursions.
Allergy-Friendly Camps
Our staff is fully trained for kids with allergies, including how to administer an EPIPEN®. If your child has allergies, contact us so we can inform the camp director and staff for individual support.
Excellent Staff-to-Camper Ratios
Daily Health and Safety Protocols
Our experts have created daily routines and protocols that promote wellbeing without taking away from the fun, including:
- Hydration stations and water
- Sunscreen application checks
- Robust supervision and identification systems
We are accredited by the Department of Health, and go above industry standards to maintain a healthy space for campers to thrive.
Complimentary Swim Lessons
We’re happy to provide swim lessons to all our campers as a way to build confidence and get exercise while learning a critical life safety skill.
Our swim lessons are built into the overall camp experience, and are designed to keep kids safe in the water. As campers advance through the levels, they will learn pool safety and various swim strokes. Every swim lesson is led by instructors who are accredited by American Red Cross, Goldfish, or equivalent swim certifications.
Water Safety
Your child’s safety is important to us, and we have extensive protocols that ensure a fun experience for everyone at the pool. Each child begins with a swim assessment so that they can be placed in the appropriate swim level group that’s right for them.
Our staff undergo rigorous water training to fully ensure camper safety, and are in the water with campers during open pool time. All pool locations are staffed with certified lifeguards to provide supervision and support.
The Best Summer Camp for Your Family
We are committed to excellent staff ratios, on-site medical oversight, allergy protocols, and water safety standards to ensure the safety of your child. Have questions? Contact our staff or camp directors and we’re happy to answer all of your health and safety questions.
