Food at Central Park

Keeping Kosher at Summer Camp

Oasis Upper East Side program operates within the Ramaz Upper School facility, allowing us to follow Glatt Kosher food practices throughout the day. Campers enjoy fresh, nut-free, kosher snacks and lunches. Our staff is trained to maintain food-safety procedures that respect Ramaz’s standards, including designated eating areas and careful handling of all meals and snacks.

The Upper East Side location makes it especially easy for families who keep kosher to feel comfortable and confident in their child’s daily camp experience.

  • Strict walking protocols
  • Inclement weather plan
  • Hydration and shade breaks

“I was looking for a full day true camp experience while still being in the city.”

“I originally found this camp because I was looking for a full day (not ending at 3 pm) true camp experience for my 3-year-old while still being in the city. She will have attended all 8 weeks of camp and has had a blast. There were exciting activities, swimming several times a week, lunch provided daily, a very sweet staff and wonderful counselors who my daughter loves.

They’ve done tie-dye, met a firefighter and a park ranger, had a carnival and color water and visited the sprinklers and duck pond in Central Park. We are a total camp family and thrilled that this first experience of camp has convinced our daughter too!”
