The Oasis Day Camp Checklist
What’s Provided
To make things easy and convenient for busy parents and to keep things safe for the campers, we’ll provide an Oasis backpack and 5 Oasis t-shirts for easy identification. Campers are required to wear their Oasis t-shirt every day of camp.
We also provide free lunch and snacks daily at our camp locations, as well as plenty of sunscreen, bug spray, and hydration stations.
What to Bring to Camp
Your child’s backpack will be with them at all times. Here’s an easy camp checklist to make your mornings easier:
- Your Oasis Backpack
- Your Oasis T-shirt
- Water Bottle
- Bathing Suit and towel (for swim days)
- Pool Shoes and goggles (for swim days)
- Any applicable medications, with doctor’s note Note: medications must be checked in with the camp’s medical staff and will be stored safely.
- Plastic bag for wet clothes or towels
You can also bring an optional:
- Change of clothes (younger campers)
- If you prefer your own:Lunch or snacks in soft, non-disposable container
- Optional hat or sunglasses
Please label everything clearly to make sure your child can find their belongings. Many water bottles, hats, and flip flops look the same.
For Special Medical Needs
If your child needs special medications, please pack them carefully along with a doctor’s instructions. We recommend double checking the expiration date before sending medication or EPIPEN® to camp.
We’re here to ensure the safety of your child, and each location is staffed with a medical professional such as a registered nurse or an EMT. Please discuss your child’s medical needs with the camp director and the medical professional on site.
What to Leave At Home
The best part of summer camp is that we’ll take care of just about everything!
Please leave the following items at home, so your child doesn’t have to worry about them getting lost:
- Stuffed animals and other toys
- Trading cards (Pokemon cards, sports cards)
- Valuables
- Money (unless specified for a trip)
