Each camper spends the day with other children in their age group. With a 1:3 staff-to-camper ratio, your child will receive dedicated support to make sure they are safe, secure, and confident as they try out many “firsts.”
Our leadership is hand-selected for their previous experience with this age group, including educators and coaches, and we provide yearly training on the social and emotional needs of the pre-K age group. If your child needs quiet time or some extra support while making the transition, our staff is specially trained to meet their needs.
Our enrichment periods are the perfect opportunity to prepare your child for preschool and kindergarten. We provide a warm and gentle environment where your child can learn critical social skills such as sharing, making friends, and group participation.
Our caring staff provide positive role models and our youngest campers build self confidence, learn how to follow a group schedule, and have fun away from home. While the ESIC campers enjoy their own programming, they also join in the fun campwide traditions of morning rallies.
Learning to swim is an important life skill, and is included in the ESIC experience. As part of your camp tuition and activity schedule, your child will receive swim lessons at their individual level from certified swim instructors. To ensure the safety of your child, lessons are conducted under the supervision of our staff and pool lifeguards.
We know that getting young children to camp in the mornings can be hard enough. Now you don’t have to worry about planning lunches and packing snacks. We serve healthy lunches daily, including “kid-friendly” classics such as bagels, plain pasta, animal crackers, and pretzels. Come check out our daily lunch menu here.
