Where it All Began
Since 2000, Oasis Day Camps have been a convenient and high-quality cornerstone of the metropolitan New York City area.
Founded by a group of early child development experts that saw a major gap in the summer camp industry: local, convenient camps that had rich, purposeful programming. They knew that they could provide a safe environment for cultivating curiosity and community without having to drive children hours outside of the city.
The first Oasis Day Camp started in Central Park with only 50 campers. Over the years, we have established exceptional best practices and set the bar for camp excellence.
Today, we are the premier day camp for professional families with enriching youth development programs, excellent safety standards, and convenient locations. The Oasis Day Camp family now has multiple locations and welcomes over 1000 campers each year.
Our focus is providing fun opportunities to try out new interests, explore our self-identity, collaborate with our local community, and learn about the world. We’re excited to have your child join the fun next summer!
Our Professional Camp Leaders
Our leaders and staff are education and youth development professionals – many of them with decades of experience as tenured teachers, administrators, or specialized support professionals.
Each one brings their professional expertise and experiences to the camp and our rich programming. Staff at all levels are continually trained and vetted so that we continue to exceed our operational excellence and high safety standards.
